First I will talk about the latest card I have. It is for the challenge at Crafter's Digital Art Center (CDAC). We are now in challenge 11. The theme is 'Love will find a way'. There were so many adorable images to choose from. I had a really hard time deciding. I decided to combine two images from Sew Many Cards and Lauretta's Digital Stamps. I thought it looked pretty cute when you put it all together. And it was fun to color (well, mostly, but more about that below). It's hard to tell from the pic, but the chocolate ice cream has teeny tiny heart confetti in gold and silver in place of the sprinkles (it was a cover up because I goofed up the sprinkles! Oops!). Here's the card:
Now on to the problem I have making cards. I was wondering if any of you also experience this dilemma?? I seem to have some issues with coloring every now and again. It's like a warm fuzzy thing is holding down my hand and I can't color. Here, I will show you the problem:
Oddly enough - this little fuzzy part is attached to a larger fuzzy part that likes to sleep RIGHT where I am trying to work. The closer the better. But just wait until you hear the noise it makes... purrr, purrrrr, purrrrrr. How can a person get anything done? And when its not sleeping.. It likes to paw through my box of paper scraps just to see what I have. Can anyone help me with this? Here's a pic of the other end.
And just so you can see why I can't just tell her no.. well, check out these pics:
So, has anyone else had this problem?? That's life with Gidget. Keeps things interesting!! Have a good one!

About ME!
Hi there and welcome to my blog. My name is Patti and I live in Kentucky with my best friend and husband, Chad and my dog, Jaxson and cat, Gidget. I love to create things and I am glad you are here to share them with me. Life is a wonderful adventure full of new things to explore. I enjoy the wonder of little kittens and the soft belly of small puppies, the sun as it sets and rises and glows in the sky, painting our world in the beauty of its rays, and all other wonders of nature. In fact there aren't many things I don't enjoy. Making cards and other things helps me to express my love for life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.
I do create one of a kind cards and I do sell them. I can make them specifically to your taste. You know how hard it is to find "just the right thing" when you are shopping for a card? Well, let me help you design it. It will be fun for both of us. I don't do cards for holidays or birthdays - but I do generic cards that fit all occasions. If you need a celebration card I will be happy to make it for you. Feel free to contact me through email and we can decide what is right for you.
I also am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and encourage you to ask me anything you want. If there is something you'd like to know about our religion or the Bible - feel free to ask. I promise not to badger you - just simply answer your questions. It is a wonderful way of life and what really contributes to the love I have for life. There is nothing better or more satisfying that having REAL answers to life's questions and serving the one true God, Jehovah.

Ha, I love the pictures of your fuzzy problem. I need to take some of mine. Except every time I bust out the camera he sticks his face right into, such a ham. His favorite is the ribbon bin, he knows when it gets opened and he comes running. He also lays on my laptop when I am trying to work. Good thing they are so cute or they wouldnt get away with all that.
thats such a cute problem to have!:) HUGS!

So precious, and ya i have the same issues with mine, both of them don't want any attention till i start scrap and coloring especially my Maine Coon, she loves to walk across what i am doing!!! Put her down and she is right back up there !!!
So funny! My furbaby died last year, but I remember him doing the same thing. He would lay right in the middle of every project and would put his paws and tail wherever I would work! As annoying as it sometimes was, It is one of the things I miss the most! Love your baby he is a sweetie!
